The Most Counter Productive Religion... and Veteran Suicide

I was raised in the worlds most counterproductive Religion.

Or what these days you might call "Spiritual Practice".

At the time it wasn't as organized as it is today.

And as most of the counterproductive religions do,

it hid it's true Nature in Platitudes,

that on the surface sounded almost logical.

Platitudes like:

"If you don't have something nice to say,

don't say anything."

Or:

"If it's painful to think about,

Just don't think about it."

Sounds nice....

sounds reasonable.

And these days the words have changed a little to things like,

"If it's a lower vibrational thought,

just replace it with a higher vibrational thought."

So as I say I was raised in this Religion,

which like most religions has a major basis in Fear.

This manifested in a household where

we never ever ever spoke about anything that Mattered.

In my home the Government's decisions were never questioned.

The Church's ideas were never questioned.

And the Medical Profession...

and anything born of technology

were revered as Godlike...

Never Questioned

and held as superior to Common Sense

and Mother Nature.

In fact when Bush was first stealing an election

and I was sending emails to my folks trying to educate my parents on

Bush's history, and ties, and motivations.

And I pointed out text of Cheney's speeches to his oil buddies

in the company where he was CEO...

many years prior to Sept 11th

where he was guaranteeing they'd get into Afghanistan

and get their pipeline from the Caspian Sea built,

"One way or another."

My Mom threatened to disown me,

refused to show my letters to my Dad,

and told me that once upon a time I'd be shot as a traitor.
(Years later she forgot all this
and became a staunch anti Bush Crusader)

During the Viet Nam war...

another US led assault upon humanity

created to make a few nasty rich people
much richer

and many poor people
much deader.

My protests landed my belongings on the front porch of their home.

Where my beliefs
were no longer welcome.

So what is this Religion

and why do I say it is "Counter Productive"?

The religion is Denial..

Recently I've been appalled to see

the incredible number of Veteran Suicides.

And it is mainly because of this religion

that these sad unnecessary deaths are occurring.

18 Veterans Suicides a day

Can you believe that.

And there are lot's of reasons given for this high statistic.

But most are bogus.

Because at all cost the government,

who happen to be the primary clerics in this Religion of Denial,

must keep the Truth from being Revealed.

Because if it were revealed.

They would lose their Army of Pawns.

And without this Army of Pawns...

The Big Business of War

would come to a standstill.

(although they are working to get around that).

So how is it that this religion of denial is responsible for these deaths?

Well it's on a lot of levels.

From the Pawns perspective:

Hypnotized into believing they are doing,

"the right thing"

"fighting the good fight"

these poor soldiers go into war.

They are not allowed to look at those they kill as fellow humans

they are the enemy

"Ragheads"
"Gooks"
"Slant Eyes"

Less of a person.

They are commanded to murder their fellow man

for reasons that if scrutinized

don't hold up.

They do their duty..

They murder who they are instructed to murder

they become numb through Denial
so they can do this..

It makes it easier.

And sometimes in this numb state they murder

innocent women and children.

They are "good soldiers"

Carrying out orders as "good soldiers do.

Then they go home...

they see the protestors

(who the clerics like to blame for their suicides)

And pretty soon they start to listen ...

and then they start to hear....

and then they see...

The religion of Denial often fails them now
as awareness dawns upon them.

They were pawns in an evil game

with the sole purpose of making a very few

very rich....
Richer.

They murdered their fellow man,

to make a very few

very rich.

I tell you what,

I remember some past lives.

I remember being murdered
in "Wars".

I remember watching the women and children and old men

in my tribe being murdered.

I was a holy man.

I was with the women, children and elderly

not our fighters.

And every single time I think of this memory

I cry.

It hurts to my very soul..

And it isn't because I was killed by the Bluecoats.

It isn't because I watched my tribe murdered.

It's because in my anger

I slit the throat of one of the Bluecoat soldiers.

There is nothing more painful

to a good man.

Than killing his fellow man.

No excuses,
no bullshit platitudes

ever take the pain away.

When I remember this.

the killing of just one man

even when he was murdering my kin...

Just one man.

And lifetimes ago.
AQnd the Pain that I still carry because of this.

I can not imagine the pain in the heart of a soldier in Iraq

or Afghanistan.

Who may have murdered many.

We can only deal with so much pain..

We can call the Murder of innocent civilians,

"Collateral Damage"

to lessen the Truth that it is

the murder of innocent civilians.

And bullshit platitudes

from folks lost in the religion of denial,

...all the chaplains yammering

and Psychiatrists psychoanalyzing

can not take that pain away.

Hey, lifetimes don't take that pain away.

So that is the first level of how this denial causes

the deaths of these poor soldiers who commit suicide.

Denying the Truth
Pretending that our Murdering our fellow man
is somehow noble, or heroic..
Will catch up with every good man,
someday.

The next level is the denial of everyone else

to admit that we have no good reason
going into these foreign lands

to sacrifice the lives of these poor soldiers
and their victims

to make a few rich piggies...richer.

Rather than even look at the Truth

the masses pretend to believe the lies

their governments

led by the corporations

tell them.

" If we don't have anything good to say about this...

don't say anything? "

"If it's too painful to think about,

just don't think about it? "

And soldiers will just keep dying

and just keep murdering

and just keep killing themselves...

Precious Life

Sacrificed on the Altar of Denial

Fueled by Greed

and Fear.

Have all these Veterans

who have taken their own lives died in Vain?

Well if we sit blindly wringing our hands saying,

"OH how could this Happen...
it's soo soo sad".

Yes they have.

But

If we WAKE UP

And say,

"Sending our Young People to die

for the rich mans gain

IS WRONG."

And...

"If you are thinking of becoming a soldier

DON'T. "

"There is no Honor in it."

"And you will come to figure that out..."

"And the Pain might well be beyond what you can bear..."

If we Face the Truth.

Their Deaths might have some small purpose..

I felt so Helpless

Last night I had a very sad Dream

I was in a room full of People who I loved.

They were all Sick

and laying on Gurneys

They all suffered various "diseases"

that would eventually kill them.

And I would look at them and try to speak

but I could only cry

as the words caught in my throat

Because I knew that they were not prepared to make

the diet and lifestyle changes

that would save them.

Rather they were following the dictates of a "Medical Profession"

which was Treating their Symptoms

as diseases.

And in Masking their current symptoms

in a pretense of curing a disease

they were

creating a plethora of new symptoms.

Their actual Dis-eases

were totally unrecognized

by their "doctors".

I didn't want them to see me crying

at the Hopelessness of it..

I ran for the door to the Outside.

Gasping for fresh air I bumped into a tall woman

who asked me what was wrong.

And I stammered between sobs,

"I feel so Helpless".

Modeling a new pipe I made

I am writing this letter to you Iran..
....people of Iran.
I am writing to apologize to you for what the people who rule the people who rule my country
are doing to you,
and for what they will surely do in the future.
I want you to understand that it's not the American people who hate you.
Everyone I know knows that what we do is Evil.
Sure we have our citizens who don't have the intelligence of a Chicken,
but understand that it isn't really their fault.
In this country the Masses are hypnotized by Television
which is owned and manipulated by the same greedy 1% who make wars for profit.
Not only are most Americans Hypnotized,
they are poisoned through their water supplies that are loaded with Fluoride,
which is used in the same way the Nazi's did to their prisoners,
to make them lose their will power and dummy down.
They are poisoned through their air
the entire country is flown over by airplanes dumping aluminum and barium and other toxic substances
which get into the lungs, the food and water supplies.
They are also lied to by their medical establishment and told that what is healthy,
is unhealthy,
and what is unhealthy,
they are told is healthy.

They believe they live in a Democracy,
however they are only allowed to choose from options...
that have been chosen for them as options
by the rich 1%, who decide everything for them
Letting them believe they are free,
because they have choice....
And most don't seem to realize the choice is made for them..

The "foods" most eat
cause them illness
cause them to pay into a corrupt medical and pharmaceutical system
that exist for profit...
not for the health of their fellow man.
In fact quite the opposite.
There's lot of money to be made from sick people..
so the masses are kept at a certain degree of sickness all the time
consuming pharmaceuticals that don't cure anything,
but mask symptoms,
and cause more problems....
that require more pharmaceuticals and more
"Medical Care".

So realize the American's that agree with the governments evil actions.
are sick, unhealthy, hypnotized Drones.
These drones used to be the masses,
but I am hopeful they are waking up
The internet has the ability to educate,
people are beginning to wake up..
To be honest I don't know much about your country,
but from the not so subtle attempts that our media is making to get Americans to hate Muslims,
I assume you are a country with many Muslims.

Americans don't know much about Muslims,
what we are hypnotized to believe is that Muslims are terrorists who don't value human life..
and who treat women horribly.

I watched a documentary on "Islam"
I learned that it was the Muslims who brought Europe out of the Dark Ages..
That it was the Muslims who were centuries ahead of Europe in the Arts, Building, in Literature, in inventing things that were useful..... and much more.
And what pulled Europe out of the Dark Ages was what they stole from the Muslims
as they Raped, plundered and Killed in the name of Christianity...

Yet what American's are hypnotized to believe is that Muslims are a bunch of Heathens running around the desert riding camels.... and becoming terrorists because,
as George W Bush....our President (who we should theoretically respect, but who was illegally put in office and I don't know one single person who respects him) said, "You hate us because we are Free".
And some people actually believed that...
Of course any hatred towards our country would have nothing to do with the fact that we are still raping, plundering and killing Muslims the world over...
Mostly because we want their oil,
but also War is just good Business for that Rich Sick 1% who run this country.

I'm sorry....I'm sorry.... I'm sorry.... I'm sorry.....
There really isn't much I can do personally to help,
But we live a very very simple life in the country
We live on less money a Month than most folks make in car payments.
And we are happy with our simple life
and making so little money we are not required to pay taxes
that will be used to kill innocent people abroad...
mostly Muslims.
Americans who make a normal amount of money have to give a percentage of that to the Rich 1%..
This tax is brokered by our government who disperses the money from the common man
to the Rich 1%
via wars in foreign lands
and other means...
I am so sorry
Your country has every right to have Nuclear weapons
Though Nobody should
But with the US and so many other countries that surround you
armed to the teeth with nuclear weapons
it would only be fair.
Of course we're led to believe that your insane leader
would do something crazy and start a world war...
Even though our country is the only one to ever use nuclear weapons against our fellow human beings..
killing millions.

We are the Bully of the World
We don't like when other countries
who take care of their people
make us look bad
and don't want to pay to the rich 1%..
So we go to war with them.

By the way I watched you leader give a speech at the UN..
Everything he said rang true.
I wish everything our leaders said would ring true.

Personally we don't have a television or get a newspaper.
We refuse to be hypnotized....

On Being Quiet


New Experiment with Scrimshaw on bone

There is always something going On.

Something keeping us "Engaged".

But even as we are kept engaged by the world,

and the people and things around us..

Something else is quietly whispering in our ear...

Problem is that we're usually just to engaged...

too distracted ,

to hear the Whispering.

The Whisperer lives in a Magical Land

And seeks to remind us of when we lived there

Long ago....

and maybe tomorrow...

But there are so many distractions.

Gotta make that buck to pay your way

through a System that you seem to be a slave to.

The world seems to be going totally Insane...

And a lot of us, don't even have to read about it in the papers..

We can Feel it.

Always could Feel Everything.

And that made it kind of difficult.

Because it seemed that the folks we were surrounded by...

Felt NOTHING.

But for those who were basically exposed antenna's

erected in the Middle of all that craziness..

Well we learned to Protect ourselves
from all the crazy stuff we felt all around us.

We built walls..

Some of us High and Mighty folks used Magical little tools like

cyclones of white Light...

Or chanting certain sounds...

Or doing certain ceremonies...

Or becoming Hermits

But you know what...

The time for Protection is Past.

"But how are we to deal with all those "Negative" energies..

Well here's the deal...
It's time to learn that there are no Negative Energies
Not in Reality..

Only in our dualistic Judgments

"But we are built upon our judgments of Good and Bad,
how can we possibly escape them?"

Well you simply dwell in the heart of God...

Guess what, contrary to what most organized religion will tell you

there is no Judgment in the Heart of God.

"Yeah, right...whatever weirdo."

Well then let me rephrase that without the "Loaded" word.

We become completely and totally quiet.

As it turns out,
that Magical Land the Whisperer is From
and is reminding you about...

You've been quiet plenty of times..

Our minds are constantly defining everything they perceive.
Our emotions are constantly responding to what we see ..
and Feel..

All this is Noisy.

Quiet means
No thought
No emotion.
(Don't confuse love as an emotion, it's not)

In fact Love is what you find
When there is no
Thought, or Emotion..

So to be quiet
To Hear the Whisperer
To return to the Garden of Peace..
You gotta quiet your mind
and emotions
Totally.

Start taking time out from your distractions..

I learned something some years back.
I was workin in a big office building
in the corporate world.
Hustle and Bustle all day..
No Quiet.

But I learned to go into a bathroom stall
and just totally let go..
No more Upholding of the world...
For just maybe 2 minutes...

You'd be surprised at how you can revive yourself
with just two private minutes of

NOT UPHOLDING THE WORLD..

Practice Quiet....

That's the Key to a Magical Land

What Having a Child does to a Woman Energetically

OK, I'm gonna talk some of that "Woo Woo" stuff again here.

A long time ago I used to do something during meditation that I called,

Going to the Archetype Plane for answers".

And I suppose you could say it was ,

"Contemplation upon a Question".

But the meaning of the word contemplation....

has mostly been lost.

A more accurate word,

for what contemplation used to mean....

and what I mean when I'm talkin about contemplation is..

Becoming..... Identification With .... Becoming

That which was the object of contemplation

The one who contemplates

.... Becomes.

You have to be Quiet

Completely Quiet.

There is no Mentality defining

there are no emotions moving the waters..

Utter Stillness to the point that what is...

Is Everything Simply As One...

Everything Simply As One...

And in that Place...

it is all Known..

But it is not defined.

But if one carries a Question

alongside the still Waters

The answer is revealed.

Here is a magical Phrase:

"The answer to any question

Lies just before the intention, and thought

of the Question."

Once this Magical Phrase is truly comprehended..

And that is coupled with Utter Silence

The answer to any question

about the workings of Life

Can be seen.

The trick is maintaining as much of that silence

when communicating what is seen...

Well anyway I used to do that," Going to the Archetype" plane for answers thing..

But now

it comes to me...

If somebody asks me something about the workings of life

I'm like a Pavlovian dog playing fetch

Out of control

Down the road of the Question.

Even when I try not to

Sometimes I'll come right back,

but I've been known to be gone for days...

It's not a mental thing at all
In fact you could almost say it's the opposite.
It's like following a road
that is defined by a question..
And each step you take is quieter..
And then you arrive at the point of the intention of the Question...
One more silent step..
and there's the answer...

Anyway we were driving over to Eugene the other day and Taryn asked me,

well she said,

" I wonder what happens to a woman energetically when she has a Baby?"

Well I was gone and back in seconds..

and here's what I found and brought back..

Humans are luminous ...

Blobs of Light composed of a gazillion fibers...

or what I call cords

of light,

like a butterfly's cocoon,

but the fibers are of Light....

Energy

Essence

Anyway when the child is born the woman gifts her child part of her own luminous cocoon.

It's like a part of the belly just breaks off and out

and goes to the child..

The woman's cocoon now has a bunch of frayed cords there

And this is no small deal

and the opening in the belly makes her more sensitive.

and she is sensitive...

still attuned to the part of her that broke off.

(Which is a good thing because she is going to have to care for this new little cocoon.)

But it is no longer a part of her.

So she feels kinda strange.

not totally grounded

because suddenly she is not quite who she was yesterday...

something is missing.
(Yeah, a huge chunk of her Luminosity)

Now here is where it gets tricky.

A lot of women when this happens

they try to put things back the way they were.

They try to energetically become the person they were before the birth..

And really this is counter evolutionary

What they were energetically

defined who they were

in the world of their fellow Humans.

And now in the blink of an eye
That has changed

Now it is time to simply be

what they are Now

Not to try to get back into yesterdays Box...

A lot of the Moms who do that

are the ones who end up using their children

to redefine their old dream.

Living vicariously through their child.
This isn't the best energetic interplay
for either of em.

At Birth

Energetically much is given away of who you were.

and you remember who you were..

but it's not who you are now.

The choice at this point is...

to decide.

Are you going to try and Grasp back the old you?

Get it together

and be who you Were...

Or,

Are you going to Honestly

and Totally give that part away....

And then live with it...

And then see

limitless possibility.

(And maybe a bunch of weirded out Family

and Old Friends

because,

"You've Changed".)

When you have a child,

some of those cords of luminosity that you give to them

were attached to things in you

that no longer served your souls purpose.

Things....

People

....relationships,

judgments,

desires

and ideas

That were like chains upon your soul.

And you give some of this away

It's part of the process..

And now

If you can let it go...

(mentally and emotionally)..

Your child won't have to work it out.

We don't have to give our children our old crap

If we let it go

when we give it away

or I suppose you could say,

When it's taken from us"...

or I suppose you could say,

When it is given and received Freely

then the child only gets Energy...

So if you are going to have a kid...

Keep this in mind

You will be giving away a piece of your luminosity..

Give it freely

and let it go.

And bless the Child, Yourself

and All of Creation
in so doing..

Yes, having a child will take something away from you..

But if you give it freely

You will find that

Who you are without it...

is even more Beautiful..

My Sweet Darling..... Shining

There are some people who really impress me.

And they are from all different walks of life,

different Races, creeds and colors...

They are as varied as the colors of the Rainbow.

But what they have in common...

what it is that impresses me.

Is their Light...

Their Link to Spirit...

Do you see the shine in their eyes...

That is a silent singing heart..

My wife is one of these people.

She impresses me every day

Her Intentions beautiful

Her heart so big

Hearts made silent through a thousand years of persecution.

For the Love that was Pure.

And OH so Magical....

The people who most impress me

are the peoples whose Spirits

Shine.

Soooo Grateful to know such souls.

Because their Spirit tells me,

"It's OK,

You don't have to hide your love anymore...."

Today at Market

Today I had some considerable difficulty constantly not breaking into tears.
Not tears of Sadness or grief,
but tears of ecstatic joy
and Gratitude.

Bracken was really overstimulated....
So much going on,
so much to see and hear...
and he wanted to see and hear and experience it all.

He wasn't eating or taking his nap..
And he was soo sleepy..
and hungry..
But there are so many people there that he just loves..

He kept wanting me to hold him..

And he was soo cuddly..

Around lunchtime he was really getting anxious being restrained within our booth...

We have to take turns eating because it's hard to eat while holding him.

So I took him for a walk around the place,
and was stroking his forehead and side of his face..

And he fell asleep.

So I took him outside into the INCREDIBLE warm Sunshine.

We went over on the grass (we had played on earlier in the morning
when it was so warm we were in our shirtsleeves...and he had so much fun playing in the grass and dirt/bark.)

Anyway he fell aslepp and so I went outside where it was quiet..
and just rocked him back and forth
and kinda sang down soft and quiet to him...
And he slept there in the pack, next to my heart
which was..... a lot bigger than my body.

And two women sitting a little ways away were singing like angels,
just sittin there in the sun singing
Pretty sure they were Market people
but I didn't have my glasses on.

And I stood there and closed my eyes and felt the sun..
felt the big sweet heart of my little boy
And listened to the women sing.
And I thought about Taryn..
and felt her big shining Heart...
Bigger than all of us put together..

And today we did awesome Trades with wonderful People

And were given gifts by beautiful souls...

And Amanda walked by,
and looked at me kinda funny
And she looked all kinda blurry
So I reached up to my face and realized

tears were pouring out of me. ..

I was soooo Thankful...

I felt so blessed.

Came home, and because I kept the fire going last night...
Then really warmed it up this morning..
.and recently insolated the windows....
and packed the stove before we left this morning and turned it all the way down..

We came home to a snug and warm house.

Taryn and Bracken got bathed..
I unloaded the Market stuff and made a good dinner and took a bath myself...
Now I'm gonna go upstairs and be with my wonderful wife on Christmas Eve...
As Bracken sleeps there
not dreaming of sugar plums...
maybe Butternut Squash with Lard ....
he loves that.

A Slightly Different Perspective

We are artists.
We create with our hands, our hearts and our minds....
And from this sacred unity we bring forth a unique new Creation...
Little Gods are we...
But alas we are also mortal men and women
who require food and shelter and warmth....
So we must make a price upon our Creations
so that we can sell them to others
to feed , shelter and warm ourselves.
We must assign a worth to our creation,
in order to put a price upon it.

And through our creating...and selling
we ,make our Living.

A funny thing about assigning worth....
First of all the general public has no comprehension of what work goes into what we do...
And some of us, do an insane amount of work
for very little money.
And yet the general public has no idea what a good deal they are getting.
Now there are a few folks who do know just how much work I personally put into each piece I create.
And these people think that I am way underselling my work.
And they are right.... I am
But it isn't because I don't assign a proper worth to my work...
That I have low self esteem and don't regard what I do very highly.

Here's the deal...
We live a very simple life...
And that is how we like it.
We live on less than most folks make on car payments every month...

Collecting Comfrey for Our Salve

And yet we feel so incredibly rich.

Yes I sell my "work" for considerably less than it is worth,
but that means that in every single piece I make and sell
I am giving that person a gift of my time and energy.
Do you have any idea how wonderful that is for us.
In every piece...
there is a little extra Giving
a personal Gift to every single person I touch with my Art.
And I'll tell you...

that is worth more to me, than the money...

We are enriched by the Giving
much more than we are deprived
from a little less money.

It's funny though..
This System of doing Business
makes it so we can't afford our own work...he he

But that's OK..

And we never even realized

how our

Teachers and Preachers

Had taught us

Desire and Hate

Which had bred Fear

And for millenium

we Desired

we Hated

And we Feared

Then Finally we Remembered

What it was like before our Preachers

and Teachers

Had taught us..

And it was Love that we found

Before the Desire

the Hatred and the Fear...

There was Simply

LOVE

And there within That

The walls that divide us

Melt into the Sun..

There is no

"Us and Them"

What da Heck going on?

Well got up today early to get ready to go to Eugene and set up our Holiday Market booth. Went to wash the dishes.... and the hot water was gone....
I was frustrated.... but maybe to really understand just how frustrated you should know that Everything seems to be breakin down lately.   We had our car in the shop for a week while they finally figured out the reason it would not run..... was the computer.
That episode in itself was...... drawn out. They called us and told us the car was fine," just maybe needed a tune up.   Maybe it was just flooded."
This was after a weekend of me trying to figure it out and checking all known systems involved...except the computer.
What is a freaking computer doing runnin a car anyway.   Keep it Simple. Gimme a Break.
Anyway so we had it towed, they called and said it was fine... elated I told them to go ahead and do the tune-up. (though it was 4 times the last price I paid for a tune-up.)   So we had to bum a ride with our wonderful friend Allison..... Well as soon as I got in and started it....it barely turned over, chuggin and missin.... not driveable.   So they took it back in and it took a week to figure out it was the computer...... minor monitary addition to a tune-up, that I could not really afford at this time we owe Saturday Market 400. and Property Tax, 300, and electric bill 200, etc. etc. etc.    But a modern miracle recently occurred....In fact just days before the car broke down a credit card company increased my limit.... and within a few more days, another one did... Good timing. So we were so happy to have the truck back, we needed supplies, hadn't been to town for a week or more.... So Yay, our new computer in the truck.... a tune-up, and we head over to Eugene. We picked up stuff for our Salve, ran all kinds of errands, got an amazing amount of stuff done, found a big Manzanita bush that had been thrown there, all cut up in nice little bush's... Got that for buttons.... Anyway so coming home off the back side of Eugene, goin up the hill.... the car quits.... I probably already ranted about this. Anyway the full truck of food and supplies for the month, and the truck quits moving. Towed home, at great expense........ then towed to the guy who put in the new computer.   It was a week before he said it was beyond him really and would cost a lot.   Basically the transmission was toast. So after being there for maybe a week and a half we were able to get it towed to AAMCO in Springfield.. ( he had by far the best price....In Florence they wanted over 4000, to do that. But even with all the credit increase I got on those 2 cards...... there wasn't enough. We had no option but to get our wheels back, we depend on Holiday Market to get us through a few months before Saturday Market starts again. So I did a lot of calling around, pricing rebuilds, and used.....   AAmco was the best deal.   It took 3 weeks to get our car back, and $2100 that we didn't have. But the total of the credit card increase, if we used both cards was almost exactly what we needed , we'd have a new transmission, the engine was practically new, so we'de have it made.(though deeper in debt) Happily we did chores....OH, our wonderful friend Star gave us a ride over there.... We did some town chores, and gleefully headed home.   Very happy about having a new transmission. Our friend Fred who is a master scrapper gave us 4 new tires and wheels.   We were cruising. I put the new tires on. The heater hasn't worked in a long time.... sounded like it was going to explode when you turn it on, didn't blow out air, and the defroster wasn't working..... Thanks to Fred pointing out the simplicity of removing that particular fan (they can really be a .... bummer) so I thought to take it out, maybe lube some bearings or something and gain some heat.   Well a mouse had built it's house inside the fan housing and that's why it didn't work. Fixed it.... NOW we were really cruising....   In a kinda last minute get ready mode....our electricity went out for a day, lost a lot of creating time.....
So Got up today to no hot water.... Checked the fuse, OK.... Moved the adjustments listening for change....none...... Checked the power going to the heating coil..... none....... checked the power coming in, 240 volts..... HMMM, it's not even making it to the element, so the element's not the prob....
AHHHHH, a reset button.........CLICK,     HUMMMMM, it's workin.... YAY.
I went and did the dishes, ( I heated up water on the stove) made breakfast and built the fire and this and that and got ready to go set up our booth.
YAY    We ate and hit the road. (we had loaded up the truck the night before.)
Off we go, la la la la , oh Happy day..... Bracken whining ( he gets really bored in the car these days.... his mind is like a greedy sponge that requires constant new input, and when it's not there....he gets grumpy. HEY sounds like his Dad when he was a kid..
We got to Veneta...raining like Crazy, dark out... And we pull out of the stop light and the car won't shift out of first gear. ( It's an Automatic Transmission)... So the engine is screaming but the cars not moving.... CRAP!!!!   Pulled over, called the Transmission shop from a gas station.... They said to drive it over and they'd look at it.   We're talkin way the heck other side of the Valley....in Low gear, Jeeze.   So we take off..... It keeps acting really weird, won't go out of first...then we come to another light....then it makes it to second....but won't go past.... then the next light won't go out of first again, just crazy like that...... But we go and set up our booth, not like we'd really like to because we're in a hurry, the day before Thanksgiving with our truck breaking down a long ways from home and Holiday market starting in 2 days.    Then we head to the Transmission shop.   Now the truck is running fine.... we get there and it's running fine..... WTH.....
So he gives us a speal about a clogged valve maybe somewhere but not real sure..... He's gonna put some tranny cleaner in it and see if that helps..... But I watch out the window, and the guy checks the transmission oil.... then puts some in..... then he puts in a bottle of the cleaner....checks the level, puts in more tranny fluid..... checks the level, more tranny fluid.... OH, and I didn't mention, at the gas station I called him from I checked the fluid level.... it was barely on the tip..... but there was a little.....
Now I'm wondering if maybe they just didn't put enough in when they rebuilt it...... Whatever.... It got us home, I made scallops and Lamb with carmelized onions and garlic over broccoli..... and Taryn took Bracken up to bed (after getting the rest of the salve labels stuck) which hasn't happened yet, though he was very tired.... He wants me to come up..... he always wants to be with us, ......soo sweet. He can't understand why I have to do anything except play with him, or carry him around on my back. But so much of what I do involves clouds of dust and other breathing hazards which I wear a mask for.   So...... I just needed to rant that out, now I'm gonna go see if he's still awake.

Well, he was asleep.... Taryn and cuddled and talked for a long time...I came down and painted some magnets, then went out on the porch to get some wood for the fire. I bent down to pick up a piece of firewood, and a little bird flew down and landed on the back of my neck, chirping sweetly.   That was a rush. It's this little bird that lives around here, hangs out in my shop and on the porch. I'm glad the cats are gone, I love birds, and I've had a few conversations with him...and set him free when he got trapped a couple of times, now I guess he's my friend. I think maybe I have a skunk friend now too. And there is also a very friendly hummingbird in Spring that I saved from being trapped on the porch a couple of times, and now it loves me.. But sorry, no rats and mice. I wish, but they just get too prolific and their poop and pee in the ceiling and walls isn't something we desire..... anyway, so it's been an interesting time of tests....keeping us Humble... and thankful.. You never know how much you miss hot water, till you don't have it... and a car.... and our ovens been gone for a good 6 months, beyond redemption really..... computerized garbage..... I liked the simple old stuff.   So we've lived with a crock pot instead of an oven......    And I think one of the lessons here is about keeping it simple.   The new fangled cars you can't even figure em out if you are a mechanic...and it's your job.....much less an ordinary Joe..... and computers in stoves...... STUPID.   It's a simple mechanism, keep it that way.    So we're gonna keep making it simpler, ..... get the old toyota motorhome running...easy engine and, you can freakin live in it..... We got rid of all the animals....gonna focus on each other...and business...... Really want to get that solar well pump soon, we have the panels and some batteries that might work out, and a huge water holding tank..... if we get the pump that's one less thing where we have to depend on paying somebody else for on a monthly basis (elec. company).
It's good to be home..... I'm gonna go carve something really cool.

And did I mention how wonderful my wife Taryn is.....always uplifting my Spirits and reminding me of the important things.... She is a blessing to the world.... and definitely to me. And the worlds best dang Mom...

We've been basically car less for a couple of weeks. It broke down the week before last and it took the mechanic a week to figure out the problem was in the computer, so we had to get a new one (used). YAY ! We got our car back and went to Eugene the next day, all out of groceries and really important things like toilet paper. So we went over and stocked up on meat for the month and some wonderful toilet paper. I've been thinking if society falls all around us, if the banks go under and our government for the rich as paid for by the poor goes under, and the Marketplace is wasted because of rampant inflation.... I'd be just fine with that. But I've really grown to ..... relish .... toilet paper, that's the one thing I'd miss the most.
Well anyway so we were coming home the back way, on 29th I think, it was getting dark and cold....we were going up a hill and..... the car quit going. The engine was fine....the transmission was toast. Luckily the day before we had bought one of those $7.50 cell phones so we could call a tow truck. $159.00 dollars deeper in the hole and we were happily home. It was Friday night so on Monday we had it towed to the mechanic in Florence. On Thursday he finally tells us it's beyond him to fix, and will cost a bundle. So after a lot of shopping around and considering options it's headed back to Springfield today...another $150. for towing and up to $2000 for the rebuilding of the Transmission. Better than the deal in Florence which was $4000. So it looks like the car we paid 4000 for, with a $500. warranty that they didn't honor a couple weeks later when the engine blew up, is becoming our 10,000 dollar $500 dollar piece of...... metal and rubber and plastic.
So, in hopes of bailing it out of the shop later next week we decided it'd be a good time for a sale.

Tonight I was laying on the floor upstairs playing with Bracken while Taryn was listing some stuff on our store.

And it was pretty much like a Dream of Heaven...

Then Bam....

I turn my head aside..

I close the petals of my Heart...

And I remember,
Countless times my life.....
....... my dreams were crushed.
By the greed, or hatred, or fear
of another man..
Lifetimes of Wars
of "Campaigns".....
Of having my Dream Crushed

And of Crushing the Dreams of other Men.

I remembered in my past Life when the Chinese soldiers came and killed all of us.

And I remember a lucid dream I had,
was up maybe in Seattle...
somewhere where I've never been..

And huge clouds were rolling in from off shore,
and we knew it was Poison gas
And in the cloud were boats carrying gazillions of Chinese soldiers
And we lived in a parking garage in the city
we had hermetically sealed it with plastic..
I guess we had a clue what was coming
And we were watching the soldiers running into town on this TV screen....
And they came to where we were
I know one guy got shot....

So here I was in Heaven...
Flashed on a Past Life...
and a freaky future dream...
And shut the frig down...

My Spirit has been a Warrior
and a Monk
for a lot of Time...

Killing and being killed....
...Seeking Refuge

And I saw how the pain from these Lifetimes
and the fear of having my Dream taken away yet once again.
Made me stifle my Joy...
Took me from the blissful present..
To a fearful future...
based upon a painful past.....

WTH

And I thought about what has been done to people in Iraq.....

How many MILLIONS of dreams have we CRUSHED
to fill some fools Greed,
    Fear,
      and hatred...

Millions of DREAMS Crushed..

And in Afganistan.....
And really pretty much all over the world....

I mean our President....
can just suddenly decide to kill anyone anywhere....
And is doing that....

The Leaders of the "Civilized World" (that's a good one)

A bunch of countries ganging up..

and destroying a bunch of other countries..

When our Motivation to Please others is contrary to our own souls requirements for our growth, we lose integrity with ourselves and the world around us.

And in our action aimed at pleasing others, we end up....rather than giving them what they really need...

.simply giving them something that maintains a status quo that may be quite counter productive.

And at the same time denying our own truth..

When we are not in our integrity...

.because we are so concerned that others "like us",

then Only an illusion of comfort exists.

I'd be willing to bet that aside from diet issues, most of mankind's "mental" issues such as depression and anxiety exist because we are not acting within our integrity.

A healthy state of mind and body can only really exist when we are living in accordance with our hearts and souls.

When we live for the satisfaction of others

, and when this means acting out of alignment with our own souls....

nobody gains.

It's a lose lose situation,

even for those who live in an illusory comfort of pretense.

Into the Heart...Tree of Life and Love

I've had a demon on my back for quite a few days....built in my past upon who knows what judgments... We're calling it the Flu for now as that is how it manifests. So I haven't really accomplished much in the creativity Dept. But today I had the energy to string a really cool necklace I carved a while back...and got it posted:

The piece of wood I carved this in is a knot from a Juniper tree. It's also one of my favorite smelling woods. When I was younger I had an incense made in Tibet that I'm sure was made from this wood. (soon I hope to be offering incense made from this, on our store...I'm working at perfecting that now). The smell gets me high. I'm so in love with it that I'm building a meditation hut out back with four huge pillars of it, so I can meditate with this smell surrounding me. So I carved it in this knot, which sure has a lot of rings, must have been an old tree. It comes from East of here in Oregon. In the roots of this Mighty Old Tree I carved a Love Knot. I strung it on horn, wood and a Picture Jasper. It's about 1 1/4 by 2 inches and the necklace is about 20 in. long.

The Antidote

But this particular strain

beyond any in the past

has been very specific

in settling in All the old wounds

So for Taryn and I it manifests

completely differently

Her throat screamed at her for days

for the centuries that her Voice

had been denied..

Mine yells from old wounds of war

and Love..

This is a Special time my friends

the ...

.um...

Overall Cosmic Vibe

That Sea that we all float in and share...

Is vibrating at a higher frequency every day

God has reached critical Mass you might say...

And here we are

floating along...

been tortured and consoled

and defined

for so long..

by Illusions

forever.

And believing it all.

But this new frequency

engulfs....

drowns....

enlightens...

all our old Illusions

our old Security

Our old Dreams

And they cannot remain as they once were....

Yet what else is there for us ?

but the unknown that lies beyond the Dream...

And we've learned to Fear the Unknown..

So we struggle to keep our ships afloat

even as they are crumbling

Because the Ocean is so vast

and as I said, Unknown...

We suffer in fear and desperation

and Pain settles in..

Well it's time for a choice my friends.

Do we hang on to a ship that

was really just a figment of our imaginations

that is crumbling inside our Dream..

Or do we just let it Go

And flow with the Ocean...

There is really only one choice

Lest we be into suffering...

I'm pretty done with that...

Magical Healing Salve

So here is the first of the three healing salves we're going to be offering:
OUCH !! Do you have a cut, nick, sore, abrasion, diaper rash, chapped lips, or burn. Well this Magical Healing salve is just the stuff to take care of it. It has healing properties that you will have to experience to believe.
I could go on and on about the ingredients, most of which we grow here. Comfrey for one I have used in some critical situations on myself, once when I tore my arm open, and once when I cracked open my scalp.... It contains a substance that is classified as a cell proliferant...basically it really speeds up the regeneration of cells. When I cracked open my head,, not being one to go to Doctors, I had my wife tie the hairs on each side of the wound together...like stitches, holding it together...then put on a poultice of comfrey...it healed up in a couple of days, when I tore my arm open (I had a hard core job in those days, always gettin injured)...anyway if you pound the stem it is like strings and gelatin...the strings stitch it together, and the gel seals and heals it really quickly (after stopping the bleeding with some alum). The Indians called it "Knitbone" and used it for mending broken bones.
Self Heal and Plantain are both well known for their healing properties and over the years I sort of made it so our lawn was about 70% these, and 30% grass, which is cool because they tolerate drought and our clay soil better than than grass, and we always have healing herbs for bites or cuts right at our fingertips.And the Self Heal flowers look like small lavender flowers all over the lawn. Calendula is also an amazing healing herb/flower and it's been said that it kills tetanus.... I have friends who swear by it, and not believing in vaccines use it when they or their children get puncture wounds...as do I . Haven't gotten tetanus yet. St Johnswort isn't just good for Depression, it is also an amazing topical healing herb, and propolis is an antibacterial "bee glue" that is amazing. Before antibiotics were used Silver was the medicine of choice for really really bad burns, in fact burn victims were put in tubs of silver water. We make our own and it's way more potent than any you can buy. Tea Tree oil is also quite miraculous in it's healing and antiseptic properties and I put LOTS in this. The base is a nice organic coconut oil which soothes the skin and makes it easier to soak in, mixed just right with bees wax so that it has just the right consistency. We added some Lavender essential oil, and mixed with the tea tree oil and propolis which has an amazing smell....the combination of the 3 smells is wonderful. The salve is a beautiful deep green from the herbs. Added to that is the Magic of a Healing Intention filled with Love.

Well we're skipping Market again this weekend.

Taryn has the Flu and last weekend we lost money at Market,

so we're staying home and I'm going to work....

so here we go again with a big sale.

We're making some changes to our business.

We're both passionate about a lot of things.

For me herbal healing has always been something that I've had a .... feel for.

Here on the property we grow lots of different herbs, in fact our lawn is mostly Self Heal and Plantain. ( I sort of have been heading it in that direction for a while).

So we decided that with all our interests and blessings we should share a little more eclectically.

So we're going to start offering healing salves.

Over the years I've discovered some herbs that practically work miracles.

I used to work in a Mill, and once I tore my scalp open pretty badly.

Man can the scalp bleed......

Well I've never much been one for doctors so I had my wife tie the hairs on either side of the tear together, then I used Comfrey goop on it.

It healed in a couple of days, same thing once I ripped the skin on my arm apart, should have had stitches but got it to stop bleeding with alum powder and used pounded comfrey (It makes a mucilage with fibers and dries into a bandage ). It also healed in a few days.

So I decided to make a healing salve with comfrey and other ingredients we grow here, self heal, plantain, and St Johnswort, and calendula

Calendula growing out back we're selling seeds now.

and some colloidal silver.

I'm also going to make another salve for bruises and aches and pains..... and one that I'm really excited about that I've always wanted to buy, but never had the money when I had the hankering....and now I found the recipe for "Black Salve" which is for skin problems and also quite famous for skin cancer..... So stay tuned for these.

I feel so blessed to have you in my life.

We're living in our Dream,
Together with Bracken.....
Feels like Heaven

Mostly

It's been difficult lately
Market has been..... very disappointing
there's been so little traffic,
totally dead in our neck of the woods,
and those who come,
haven't been buying.
But really it's just a numbers game,
and we haven't had the numbers.
so there's the money worry...,
Then of course everything we have mechanical is breaking down all at once.....
And Bracken is going through some painful spurt and so is fussier than usual...

But the Market going down the tubes has inspired us to start a new approach to our business...
more eclectic..... and that's really exciting.
And everything breaking down is sending us into a more non-electric mode...
which is also exciting and pretty much fits in with both of our dreams.

And Bracken is just the sweetest most sensitive and frighteningly intelligent little humans...
And he's facing a lot of stuff right now....
The limitations in this life...in his little body that won't do yet what he wants it to do,
drives him crazy.
He wants to suck the world in like a vacuum cleaner, but can't get around fast enough, he he.
So he gets frustrated....
His teeth coming in is painful, and he's got a lot of old stuff he's still working on...
You are the best Mom a person could be ....short of being some kind of All Powerful Superhero.
Bracken is sooo dang lucky to have you for a Mom..
He tells you when he has to go potty.....
and he has to go a lot,
and you almost always pick up the cue,
so he never has to sit in poo or pee.
And if you are busy , and trying really hard to get something done
and you miss a cue, you get all guilty feeling, like you are some bad Mom because Bracken peed in his pants and had to sit in it for a couple of minutes.
You are there for Brackens every need... basically instantly
as his needs arise.....
That is one lucky kid.
But there you are, 24/7 just waiting to fulfill Brackens needs.
You are the best Mom

And you are the best wife,
even as exhausted as you might get,
you always are still so connected to me...

And you know darling, that even when I am so exhausted from these amazingly long and full days...
And I get tired, and sometimes grumpy if maybe my tooth is hurting or something....
There is not a second, ever....that I don't feel connected to you.

and then somehow still squeeze out some more.

So quit feeling guilty.

And all that guilt you carry because you spoke some truth to that person who was so abusive to you for so long... And now they are playing the whole "Poor me, terrible Taryn" role to shift attention from the Truth you shared.... back to poor them.... And you are feeling guilty for speaking a truth because you would rather let someone hurt you.... then hurt them, and of course this is what they are hoping for.....

So no Guilt.....

your are a great Mom,

a Great wife....

and a great Person.

Taking it to the Next Level, You are as Big as your Breath

For quite some time now I've been getting the message that there is something I'm supposed to write.

I know it's about the Breath....... But being the stubborn Aries I am I don't want to be told what I need to do. Besides my time is pretty full. Doing what we do for a living, and living as simply as we choose....

We're busy. And when there is a brief break in the work, I want to spend it with Taryn and Bracken.....

But alas even Taryn is tellin me I need to go let it come through..... so here I am.... and here we go.

You are as big as your Breath...

Making all these magnets these days with little sayings on them that are like...

expressions of simple joyful archetypes.....

is letting me clue into the Magic of Words.

....

But that's another post....

Here we're talking about the power of the Breath.

But first we have to talk about what steals our Power.

And pretty close to the bottom line on that is

Dualistic Judgments....

OK, we humans have been built into a dualistic system,

The duality is maintained by Judgments

Through the millenia we seek

what we judge is Good

and we repel

that which we judge is bad.

Desire and Fear feed this duality

Our desire for what is"good"

and our fear of what is "bad"

fuel the engine of this Created duality

and we're churning in the spokes.

Well here's the thing,

Every time, through so many lifetimes,

that we have Desired or Feared

we have dislocated ourselves from our perfect position

in the Flow of the Web of Life.

And here we are,

totally built upon these eons of judgments....

The Push's and the Pulls that settle in our energetic bodies.....

We carry within us push's and pulls that have settled.

Parts of our bodies we give attention to

and others we avoid like the plague.

Every judgment you have ever made....

you carry in your body.

Until you Let it go.....

How do you do that?

You breathe into it.

OK, here's the thing about Push's and Pulls

The things we have judged as bad, that we don't like...

We push them away energetically...

First understand that every judgment you make,

settles at a position in your Physical, and etheric and astral bodies.

Then depending upon your relationship with that judgment,

whether you desired it,

or feared it...

You will either withhold your breath from it,

or breath too much into it.

Either way you create a condition of dis-ease.

And we've pushed and pulled these areas of our bodies for so long,

that we've become accustomed to how it is,

how it feels, even though it is not all that comfortable.

Diseases.....and even accidents have their roots in past judgments

because as I said, judgments pull you off your center...

And when you are off your center

accidents and disease happens.

So, how do we free ourselves from the difficult trappings of Duality?

You Breathe into EVERYTHING.

So maybe this just sounds like crazy talk,

"Breath Into Everything,"

what the heck does that mean.

OK, here's the thing.

Each time you take a breath

you allocate it to certain areas in your aura

(ones built upon desire) you feed your breath to

And you withhold it from the ones that were built upon a push.....upon fear.

So you have energy moving too much into some places...

and not enough (or any at all) into others.

So here it is..... a nifty little practice to ....

jump off that duality

and take it to a whole new frequency.

Woah, 35 years ago this message was coming at me,

but I just couldn't get it.

THE BREATH

Watch that...

Breathe deeply......

watching where you hold back...

or where you draw towards.

And stop holding back

and stop grasping

and

Simply BE in the Whole Breath

That is EVERYWHERE

What stops us from the next Big Step in Evolution

Is pushin and pullin.

And our breath defines our position in the midst of eternity

Between Us and eternity

are our judgments

and they simply need to be Breathed Into Equally

and we will be Free..

The Magic Words Here:

Well maybe not, but close. Here's 3 gallons of Kraut I made and 2 gallons of Kraut Juice. We never eat a meal with meat without some fermented veggies. It's just the way it's sposed to be..

I have a Teacher that's been with me since I was 8 years old (at least that was my first encounter with her). I always called her my "Highest Teacher" because she seemed to be ...... my .... well it's hard to put into words. Anyway years ago my stepson was living with a Swami dude who was for real. One time he channelled my Teacher and told my step son that she was called,"Grandmother Spider".
She has always seemed to be concerned the most with my Spiritual Growth...whereas other guides help in other areas.
Anyway the other night I was working at my bench late at night, it was a very Magically Creative night where I found myself talking and singing..... but not in English... not sure what it was, but it flowed out like a fountain of Joy. I kept having to look up from my piece to let the Juice flow up through me. It was really amazing. I was feeling Grandmother Spider and I looked up, and leaning against the window was a carving I started for a Journal quite some time ago...... There was a Spider hovering there right in front of ..... well, you'll see.

Been Busy Creating... Some new Products

A long time ago I was meditating.
I suppose you would call it Kriya, or Kundalini yoga.
I was the Pulse...the Flow, and the Swirl.
It was like riding on the music of my soul.
Then I noticed this pulsing flow of the Sushuma or whatever that Central Core is called,
and was feeling the dancing of ida and pingala ..
It was like I suddenly noticed that this dancing, and the swirling, and the rushing.... was singing a song..
And I inhaled and my head asked,
What is this song..?
And I heard these sounds.... Dair Dapey Mashtra
And I exhaled and said, What?
then I heard these sounds Ahbu Nhabe Shin Shom
And one was the voice of the inhale
and the other of the exhale...
and within it all was carried the sound of the Core.
Then I inhaled and asked,
What?
And i heard,
The Key to the Door at the Top of the Stairs.

And for the Key to work
Both phrases must be uttered within.....and without....simultaneously.

Well the reason I mention this is that this Pendant reminds me of the

I was thinking about how so much of peoples Ideas and concepts that I "disagree" with.....
are ones that not too long ago were the basis of my beliefs.
And how what I believe today,
was not even a matter of consideration just Yesterday.

There is no right or wrong about folks ideas and concepts.

Each is just another perspective in understanding the whole.

The "Truth" of Creation is built upon a Pattern..

Each concept is another puzzle piece in that pattern.

Recent Creation

Some have put more of the puzzle together than others

It isn't because they are inherently wiser.

They have just been "In Creation" Longer...

or have learned the simple lesson of not clinging to their ideas and concepts.

In fact knowing the "Truth" is less a matter of putting the puzzle pieces together,

than it is...

dismantling the puzzle.

We learn more about the "Truth" by Letting Go..

Than we do by Collecting more ideas and concepts.

We don't get closer to the Truth by Collecting more ideas and Concepts.

We get closer to the Truth by Letting go of our firm Grip on our Ideas about the Truth.

The Truth exists once we remove our ideas about the Truth.

This is a special time in all of this round of Creation..

You could accuratly say this is a time of Hyper Evolution..

The Key to being comfortable in this Time we are in..

Is in Learning to Let Go.

Any attempt to Maintain the solidity of our Description

will only cause us difficulty.

It's a really good time to exchange our obsession

with Intellect and emotion....

Mystic Green Centering Amulet

Mystic Green Centering Amulet.

This is one of those creations where I had no idea what I was going to do, just started doing it.

The Intention behind it was to make a Centering and Healing Amulet.

So I just let it unfold..

and this is How it turned out..

I thought I'd share part of the process of the Creation of this piece.

The Ivory is old ivory I got a long time ago, it came from a Game Refuge in Kenya.

First I draw out a basic design on the ivory.


Then carve down and polish it.

Then I did some carving in the background and filled it in with Black India Ink, kinda like a deep Scrimshaw .
Then I had some nice recycled Cocobolo Wood.... Amazing Grain and shine to it.
I set the Peridot in a silver setting then set that in the center of the Ivory.
Then set that in the cocobolo.

I strung it on Picture Jasper, Peridot, and coco.

This is a reply and a ...hmmm, Flow that began on a "Spiritual Forum" where some dude found his Guru, and lots of folks were makin comments this way and that... some bein kinda rude to the poor guy who brought it up...
Anyway this is my reply.

Well the fact of the matter is we all have Teachers,
Once we get to a certain point in evolution.
But the only time we are aware of them for the first bunch of lifetimes with them,
is when we're dead..
Hehe...
Yep

Then eventually we all make contact.

We are not one separate thing you guys..

We are not on an individual journey anymore

......... once we've changed Direction.

Which I would assume most folks on a spiritual forum have.

So we all begin connecting to the Allied souls who you could say,
are nearest to us in the Web.
This becomes
(and has always been)
Our Group...

And the Teacher....
The Guru....

Is there even if you don't know it.

It's what you split off from
on your first day in Creation...
It's Your nearest connection in the Web.
Just one step ahead....
or you could say, Deeper Within

The whole thing now is expanding within Itself

The "Pressure of the Light"
is greater than it's ever been.
In the whole of this round
of Creation
And it's increasing exponentially every day..

The Whole is Merging
as all the interconnected pieces
meld into the One Thing.

One has attained much when they find the Teacher to complete the Circuit.

But they don't necessarilly have to be in a Body

I miss some of my Teachers

I felt abandoned by my Teachers

when I had my Humpty Dumpty Episode

And maybe I was angry at them.....

.........or me ..................for me not listening to them

about a crucial matter..

And all the Kings Horses and All the Kings Men...

I've been mad at them...

but really I guess I'm mad at myself

for making that DUMB ASS DECISION.

Accident?

So Bracken and I were rolling on the lawn out back.
I was hugging him, the rolling over him while holding myself up
so it was like we're this one thing
rolling along
I do this a lot with him
he loves it
so do I

Rollin on the Earth
nothin like it

But this particular time I had forgotten I had a camera
in the leg of my pants...

Anyway we're making the first couple of rolls and the camera falls out..
And I don't want Bracken to roll on the Camera.
so I do some kind of contortion to miss it.

And then I hear a loud....
not exactly a "POP".....or CLUNK
well maybe the combination of those two
Anyway there is this lod sound
Something in my chest.... HURT
It was like Hurtin Now...
It wasn't a case of, "Dang, that's gonna hurt later"
Which is usually the case with things because I don't have time for them "Now".
So I guess I just kinda hold it back till I have time to deal with it...
and that'd be whilst I'm a sleepin.
But it in this particular case...
It hurt now!
Anyway been to the Chiro twice
pushed it back... Kinda

So here's the deal.

The reason I have a dislocated rib right now,
Isn't because I did some wrong move,
and it was an accident...

Not Really..

You see I have had this ..... way of protecting my Heart
It's like a wall...
Like a castle that I can venture out of
But nobody can venture in to.
And over the course of my life it seems there have been these cycles

I let my heart run beyond the walls...
for a short time
then I run back and hide in the castle.....
Then I let my heart run beyond the walls
then back to my safe castle.

But did I ever let anybody in the Castle..

I think I did,
but I think a whole bunch of time I did
I got terribly hurt.

So I quit opening the door.

But the Truth is..
I love so much
and it's just really so very Big.
It's so much bigger than everything else.
Bigger than the Castle..But I have an almost impossible time handling love
when it's pointed at me..

This Castle sat in my Chest...
it weighed heavy
and it threw off my Balance.
and I hurt myself...

I am going to tear down that Castle
and let my heart run free
from Now on.

The Farmer and a Lesson About Judgment

Once upon a Time there was a Family of Farmers.
One day a blessed event occurred and they had another little boy child....
But as it turned out it wasn't really all that wonderful.
From the time the child was very small it seemed he didn't much like his family
and when he got older he made it very clear
that he hated their way of Life...
He hated Farming...
Farming was stupid,
and people who farmed were stupid....

Well the child "had problems"
He wasn't a happy child,
he ran away from home when he was a teen,
started hanging out with some rich kids who didn't really care about anything
but getting thrills...
and doing hard core drugs.
He became addicted to heroin....
He was wasting away and one day took an extra big dose......
He flashed into this place that was nothing but Light....
then suddenly he was in another scene
another time long long ago.
It was like a dream,
but he knew it really was a memory.

He was a Prince, in a Kingdom
he lived in a huge Castle and had servants

All day long all his Brothers and Sisters did was waste time..
They taunted and teased their servants for Pleasure.
He didn't see the fun in this,
in fact he fell in love with one of the Servant girls..
As it turned out her family lived on the edge of the Kingdom
They were Farmers and raised most of the food that fed his family..
He was fascinated with farming...
Putting a seed in the ground and caring for it until something Grew
and fed people..
Working in the fields and workin up a sweat.
He thought it was Heaven.

When sitting at the dinner table with his family,
he told them of his fascination with it.
The mocked him horribly.
He didn't care,
and he loved the Farmer girl and actually ran off and Married her and was having a pretty wonderful time...

Well his Mom the Queen..
who by the way was not very nice..
Was horrified....
but worse she was soo embarrassed

How could her favorite son do this to them?
How did it look to their Court?
It was devastating to her.

So she went to the Kings executioner and paid him to secretly murder the farmer woman his son had married....

and one day when the son had come to deliver vegetables to his family,
the executioner stole away and killed the son's wife..

When the son got back to their Farm and saw his wife
his heart broke.....

He went to tell his family as he wanted to bury her in the family plot.

The Mom told him that no Farmer would ever be lain to rest in the family plot
Farmers were dirty, loathsome worthless beings...
and it was most likely the sons fault that she was murdered....
She told the son he was forgiven and could move back to the Castle.

The son was at a loss for what to do,
without his wife he lost his direction..
And he moved back to the Castle.

The Queen and his Brothers and sisters never stopped saying nasty stuff about Farmers..
they wanted to make him Pay for what he did to the Family...
The Son felt so much guilt and shame.....
it ate at his soul.
But he learned to keep distracted,
he started partying with his Brothers and sisters...
even started taunting and Teasing the servants...
He felt guilt for it...
He hated himself for "being the cause of his wife's death"
he hated himself for teasing and taunting the Servants..
But he just kept ignoring it, and seeking out pleasures to avoid the festering pain within him...
Well one of those "Pleasures: ended up giving him Syphilis...
and he died a Horrible Death....

Back to today, and the Farmers son awoke from this "Drug Induced Dream."
It turned out he hadn't shot up enough to kill himself...

He walked out to the Interstate
stuck out his thumb
and hitchhiked back to the Family Farm

And lived Happily ever after....

The roots of our Demons....of our fears can run very deep...

Lifetimes deep...

And we only rid ourselves of them
by facing them
But we don't because in facing them we will have to Feel the Pain
that made them our demons in the first place...

Our Demons,
our pain
is ALWAYS built upon dualistic Judgments

The really funny thing is that once we learn to face them we often see,
That which we had judged in the very beginning as Bad, or Evil..
That which we tucked away in guilt and shame..

Today is something we seek.

Now that's embarrassing ....

We are defined....and manipulated by things we often long ago buried, and tried to forget
All the energy we put towards keeping those thing buried...
only served to feed them,
and make them grow bigger and stronger.....

And even though we held them at bay,
kept them out of our minds

They are what pull our strings
And like puppets we dance a dance
controlled by yesterdays Judgments
Made in Ignorance
(all judgment is ignorance)

If we want to become Masters of our Life.
First we must stop Judging

Then we must face our past judgments

the ones that have become our demons

and the Puppeteer.

Guardians of the Green Scrying Stone

At the Heart of the Forest of the Whole World is a Place

And in this Place there is a Deep Pool of Green

Gazing into the Pool one can find answers to their deepest Questions.

And it seems that when this pool was formed

Somewhere around the beginning of Time

It came with Two Guardians

If we are ever fortunate enough to come close enough to gaze into this pool

We'll probably see the Guardians as Two Trees

Raising their branches and casting shade upon the Lighted Pool.

I carved this in an amazing piece of bi-color Mountain Mahogany.
It's practically as hard as stone.
I love the color.... a deep brick red at the bottom fading into a very light brown at the top..
I set a beautiful piece of Jade that was given to me by Michael Caffrey (for those of you who might have known him).
I set it in such a way that you can hold it up to the Light, and see the Light shining through, you can see in the picture where I'm holding it up to the Sun, and one where Taryn is.
It also works really well with candles.

It has a very warm and healing vibe...

There are some interesting things you can do with this Talisman.

Here's a hint..... Hold it up to your eye, looking through it from the back...

I strung it on a couple kinds of picture Jasper and horn beads...on 21 strand steel covered with nylon.....It has a barrel clasp gold in color, not sure what the metal is...

I haven't named this one yet.... It's an amazing one....totally inspired, carved in Mountain Mahogany, Light at the top, darker on the bottom. It's set with a piece of Jade I got from Michael Caffrey for you folks who remember him (we miss him)... I set it so Light will shine through from the back....really powerful.

This one took quite a while. Carving this wood is like carving Stone....it's so hard, and getting the Jade set so the Light would shine through was a challenge.... But sooo worth it. It'll be a bit more spendy.

The earrings above are in some really amazing pieces of Birdseye Maple Burl...I picked the choicest off the whole board I had to make these two.... Then I inlaid the sun and set two turquoise stones in the middle. These are $65.00..

The ones below are also some really nice Birdseye Maple with a sun design, but no stones set in the middle.

This Light Kanki is set in a really nice Natiural edge piece of Spalted Birdseye Maple burl

Feed the Joy Spoon

I love carving Spoons.... It's like a meditation.... it's all about FLOW.... I called this the "Feed the Joy spoon" (that's our Motto...."Feed the Joy") ..... I carved it in some rock hard Ironwood that was reclaimed from a floor some rich folks were putting in. I carved the Celtic knot on top. I think everybody should have their own personal wooden spoon.
I put it through 11 stages of sanding and polishing...that shine is not a varnish, it's the super smooth wood... I love the color and it has a nice hefty weight to it.... If I ever get time I'm going to make myself one, he he...

Being "Misunderstood"

Being Misunderstood:

I was inspired to write this in Response to something a friend said about people making assumptions about them and judging them based upon those assumptions, which were erroneous..

Being Misunderstood

That used to be my biggest pet peeves

then I finally realized how we each inhabit an entirely unique and different position in

the Web of it All....

which is basically determined by when in the Evolution of

IT ALL

your soul was born..

No two souls ever in exactly the same place.

Therefore we each have a totally unique perspective

that is all our own.

And this is all part of the Plan.

So the fact of the matter is

Not one person in existence now

or ever,

will totally be able to understand us

(operating from a different vantage point in the web)...

So my expectations to "be understood" were really a dance of futility.

Some in the Web are closer to us,

and can come closer to understanding our perspective...

somewhat....

But there are those who it will simply be impossible for.

After all, nobody really sees "you"...

They see reflections

of their own thoughts,

and feelings

...superimposed on you.

Tips on Country Living

For those new to Country Living:
If you raise livestock of any kind in the Country,
you can not call your place a Farm or a Ranch
unless you have at least one Dog.

Otherwise you have to call it
a Predator Feeding Station.....

Having two retarded dogs I wish this wasn't the case....

But it is.

A Live Tasty Healthy Treat

Arugula Flowers, Watercress Flowers, Kale Flowers and Chive Flowers. I like to save the seeds from these to make Sprouts. And if at just the right time I take the tip top flowers off, it makes the seed pods swell and seems to increase the seed bounty. Gets done faster because all the energy goes to the seeds, not to more flowers. And the longer it takes the greater chance of Fungus or bug damage. So we Feasted. I made us a salad with these potent little Babies and with Salad mix we traded for at Market, and Cukes and carrots we traded for (Thank you Sweet Leaf). Aren't they so beautiful.

The White flowers are the Arugula (yum), Small yellow are the Watercress, the large yellow are the Kale, and the Purple are the Chives...(really tasty in soup by the way)

The Tree at the Center of the World

There is a place that the Ancient Ones speak of. They call it ,"The Center of the World". Now they aren't talking about the middle of the planet Earth, they are talking about the Center of the World. It's like the Balance Point...It's like each of us on our bodies has a Center of Balance, so does the World. Maybe you could call this place EDEN, or Shangri La....because it is in Perfect Harmony. Anyway, there at the Center of the World, right in the very Middle of it....there is a Tree. At least it looks like a Tree, but really I think it's a whole lot more... In fact, well I don't want to sound too Crazy here, but you know you could call that tree the Umbilical cord of the World. It connects the World, with It's Source. Think of this Amulet as being made from a Branch, Given by that tree. The Trees reminder that there is a Place of Balance....a Center that Connects to All. Roots deep in the Earth, Branches Reaching towards the Sun......

I'm really excited, this week is Tree Week... I'm carving lots of trees this week.....and I'm doing it a little different than I have in the recent past. What I was doing so as to make the most of my time is I was doing maybe 10 carvings all at once. I'd do them all on one stage, then all of em on the next, through about 20 bit,bur and polishing changes. That way I wasn't spending so much time changing tools and bits.. But with the new thing I made to hold the pieces for me so I could save my hands from eternal Pain....now it makes more sence to do each piece all the way through, because mounting the pieces on the holder requires materials and time that I don't want to waste. So this week each piece will be made from start to finish....It's cool, I don't havce to wait until Friday to see what they look like finished. So I'm gonna post em as I get em done....
